Serving members of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines can take part in Air Experience Flying at Dartmoor Gliding at preferential rates. This comprises two flights, or the equivalent, in a two-seat glider with a British Gliding Association Instructor. After your flights, you can enjoy up to three months temporary membership of the club and can fly at club rates. On completion of your temporary membership you are eligible to join DGS as a full member.
Purchase a Navy Flying voucher through PayPal using the button below. You will be sent an email from the DGS Booking Officer with your voucher attached. Then use the Voucher number to book your flying using the “Book Flight” option on the main menu
Note – When you attend the airfield you will need to show your Military Identity Card as you are on duty. You should inform your chain of command when you are taking part in your Air Experience Flying. If you fly subsequently, either as a temporary of a full member, you are not on duty.

| Physical Limitations | The aircraft design imposes limits of: a minimum size of 4ft and 4 stone ( 1.22m and 25.4kg); a maximum size of 6ft 3″ or 16 stone 3lb (1.90m and 103kg). |
| Voucher | All flights for a voucher must be taken by the same person. Vouchers are valid for 1 year, are not transferrable nor refundable. |
